Privacy
Your data stays yours.
This page explains what EarlyPulse collects, what we do with it, and what we deliberately do not keep. Last updated 10 October 2026.
Who we are
EarlyPulse is operated by Marc von Brockdorff. For privacy questions, contact marc@earlypulse.app or use the contact form.
What EarlyPulse does
EarlyPulse helps founders understand early product usage. You connect your app through a secure, read-only endpoint that you control. EarlyPulse reads the signals needed to generate plain-English daily updates and insights.
Data we process
- Account data: your name, email address, and authentication details when you create an EarlyPulse account.
- Product connection data: the endpoint URL and configuration needed to read usage signals from your app.
- Usage signals from your app: aggregated or structured product metrics your endpoint exposes, such as signups, activation, usage, and similar events. EarlyPulse is designed to work from product signals, not from exporting your full raw event history.
- Founder Memory and chat: notes, decisions, goals, and messages you choose to share with EarlyPulse so later updates can use that context.
- Generated insights: daily updates, rolling assessments, and related product insights created from the signals above.
- Website and contact data: if you join a waitlist or send a contact message, we store the details you submit so we can respond.
What we do not want to collect
EarlyPulse is not built to become a warehouse of your customers’ personal data. You should avoid sending unnecessary personal data through your endpoint. Do not expose passwords, payment card data, or other sensitive credentials to EarlyPulse.
How we use data
- To operate your EarlyPulse account and product connection.
- To generate daily updates, insights, and chat replies about your product.
- To remember founder context you explicitly save or share.
- To respond to support or contact requests.
- To maintain security, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.
Where data stays
Your app remains the system of record for your product data. EarlyPulse reads from the connection you provide. Generated insights, account data, Founder Memory, and chat history are stored in EarlyPulse systems so the product can work for you over time.
We use infrastructure providers to host the application and database. Contact form messages may also be delivered by email to marc@earlypulse.app.
Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share data only with service providers that help us run EarlyPulse (for example hosting, email delivery, and model providers used to generate insights), or when required by law.
Retention
We keep account, connection, insight, memory, and chat data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. Contact and waitlist records are kept so we can respond and manage early access. You can ask us to delete your account data by emailing marc@earlypulse.app.
Your control
- You choose what your app endpoint exposes.
- You can add, edit, or delete Founder Memory entries in the product.
- You can disconnect your app or ask us to delete your EarlyPulse account.
Cookies and analytics
The EarlyPulse marketing site and app may use essential cookies needed for authentication and basic site operation. We do not use the marketing site as an advertising tracker.
Changes
If this policy changes in a material way, we will update this page and revise the date above.
